29 March 2023 Spring Training Ride

G.T. Bishop and A.T. Lane got together for a Spring Training Ride in preparation for the upcoming cycle trip along the Danube.  In true MBC fashion we met first for coffee at the Cafe Creme in Westmount.

Soon the rigorous aerobic experience began  we planned to ride up to the St Denis REV to Ile de la Visitationn then head south to the Angus Yards for the second Cafe.

However, due to the late start, lunch soon interrupted and veered off St Denis and we stopped at a familiar hang out, the Cafe Cayote.

Here discussion soon turned to the upcoming Critical Mass ride posters we had seen along the St Denis REV.  Perhaps we could persuade the organizers to do a ride along another potential REV the long neglected Sherbrooke Street?

Appetites satisfied, the training continued.  Rather than continuing north towards Ile de la Visitation  then south again towards the Angus Yards the dynamic duo decided to make a shortcut and head east, directly to the Angus Yards.  The result was that we made it to the Angus Yards in record time.

Their plan was to make the Angus Yards the second the second pure coffee stop of the training ride.  However a feeling of guilt overcame the duo and they felt that more cycling was required before that essential aspect of the ride could be completed.  We decided to continue on to the Velo Quebec HQ and have coffee there.

Feeling that they were now amongst familiar ghosts, the duo relaxed and made plans for the next fixture.

How about this as a Sherbrooke Street Poster?
