California Classic Bicycle tour

        Beginning and ending in a town called Cambria near San Simeon the Santa Lucia tour route combined 56 miles of pavement and approximately, 16 miles of gravel totaling 72-miles of solid effort. It gave an opportunity to experience the beauty of the California coastline, the vineyards of Templeton, the challenging Cypress Mountain ascent, all capped by a 15-mile descent of with ocean views.

        This past 17th of September two LA physists joined the tour, Alex and Tomas.   Both had the required bicycle types, built before 1986.   Tomas wore the MBC jersey.   Alex is originally from Poland, Tomas from Montreal.

        The total distance for the tour was a bit more than a 100 kilometers, metric century.
