15 October 2020 Zoom Meeting of the Montreal Bicycle Club

 

Present: A.T. Lane , Karl Kron, Daisy Greville, Ernestine Bernard & Louis Rubenstein 

The club reviewed the website structure and discussed some changes that may be implemented.  These included:

1.  A members only section that would have the membership list and contact information

2.  The addition of more biographical information about present day members

3.  The use of composite photographs to illustrate places of historical interest to the MBC

4. It was proposed that the club have various classes of members these could be

    a. Ordinary members - anyone who has expressed an interest in joining and has been added to the email list

    b. Active members - anyone who has participated in a club event over the past year

    c. Voting members - Active members who have attended at least 10 club events since joining

    d. Executive members - members who have been elected for special positions within the club

5.  The procedure by which Sobriquets may be reassigned from inactive to active members was discussed.
