Montreal Clues to Byron Preiss's The Secret

I recently received an email from someone searching for a hidden treasure in Montreal.  I am told that the clues to the Montreal treasure can be found in in the following picture and verse.

The Secret has been translated into various different languages including Japanese.  In that translation it is clear that Lane is a proper name.

  This leads to the connection to the Montreal Bicycle Club, one of the founders being A.T. Lane.  Is it possible for example that some curves in the picture depict the path that A.T.'s son Bertie took up Cote des Nieges hill?  

  If true it is certainly a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key.
