August 24 Val David

 The day began with a heavy rain and A.T. taking a train to St Jerome to meet with Laura for a day trip on the P'tit Train du Nord trail.  After a few text messages about what is the location of the Vert Vert Cafe, the rain cleared and the two met in a parking lot.

 

We headed up north on the trail, after the rain delay, taking shelter under trees whenever it returned for a short spell.

Like the tent caterpillars along the way we continued on our trek.

 

Eventually, it became time to turn around and head home.  An excuse was provided by a work crew paving a portion of the path.

 

Taking note of what the trail looks like from the opposite direction. Arriving in time for the train home.
