Do not put your woolies away yet – it’s cold out there. Regardless, these brave souls ventured out to try their hands at driving the Sociable. 

Our first trial was in the parking lot near Westmount Park then we ventured out into traffic. Our fearless leader, A.T. Lane took us through the technical aspects of driving the bike – how to put the parking break on, how to lock the bike, how to remove and install the battery, how to turn it on, how to turn the bike around on a dime even with a passenger, and how to switch from low power to booster power. Some of us learned what not to do with a senior passenger. With more practice we will acquire more confidence, experience and comfort needed to give our clientele joy. And a big welcome to a new member. We will have to find a Sobriquet for her.
