Mr and Mrs American Redstart in the Falaise St Jacques

A.T. received his 2nd Covid Vaccine yesterday and was not feeling up to the full Fixture ride on the P'tit Train du Nord. Instead he went over to take a few bird photos in the Falaise.

For the first time he noticed a large number of Robins near the bird feeders.  Normally they only appear further down the path near the Skate Board Park.

A White-breasted Nuthatch was also nearby the feeders.

Further down the path near the Skateboard Park the Chickadees were gathering leaves.

The Common Whitetail Dragonfly was an interesting find

But the highlight was finding Mr & Mrs American Redstart and their young chick.

Update:

On June 18 I stopped by the bird nest again.  There was no sign of Mr & Mrs Redstart or the new born chick.  I lifted a camera over the nest to view inside, two unhatched eggs.  I hope the Redstarts are doing well....
