Last Cut in the East Valley

Louis-Louis, the Buckthorn Hunter, A.T., and Tibbs met along the eastern end of the Bande Verte adjoining the Falaise St Jacques to clear the East Valley of fallen trees' debris that had come down during summer storms.   There was a stiff chilling wind from the east when standing on the Bande Verte pathway but upon dropping down into the East Valley they were protected from it.

The cutting out of branches went rather well.   Sometimes they had to stop on a particularly difficult branch and rethink strategy.  It was especially tough on the arms cutting the high ones.   But the work was done in roughly a couple of hours.   The Buckthorn Hunter and A.T. even had extra energy to search out a few errant tires.  They were loaded onto the wheelbarrow and by turns brought back to the central access road.
