The day started early, giving out reflective armbands to children before Halloween.

This took place across the street from his old house, perhaps triggering memories before the ride.

At Shaika Cafe, during the pre-ride coffee, Birdie reported to the members an update of what W.G. Ross had been up to since his racing days at the MBC.

All these accomplishments came as bit of a surprise to his fellow members who used to joke about how he would wear all those medals on his chest.

Not to be outdone in the news department A.T. reported that Mr Jenkins, in addition to his epic Penny Farthing journey from Ottawa to Matane, can boast that he is a father!!!

By happy co-incidence Audrey May (she is still too young to have a Sobriquet) shares a birthday with her great aunt, Elsa von Blumen.

After all that news had been digested by the group, they said goodbye to Birdie, meeting Louis in Montreal West near the former Blue Bonnets.  Site of many MBC meetings.

Riding out to Ste Anne, A.T.'s mind kept thinking of memories.

He passed by houses where he used to live.

Remembering where his cat Watson would catch mice.

The church in Ste Anne that his mother said had much better parties.

The boardwalk in  Ste Anne, it was said that the current changed direction during the last flood.

All this reminisces were interrupted by lunch.

On the way back Louis had to break off from the group early.

The rest carried on to the woodier sections of Montreal Island.

PS

After I left you I went down St-Charles to visit my friend-nobody home so I continued along Donegani, zig-zagged along Victoria to Ville-St-Pierre and climbed Deadman’s Hill in 1 shot.

OMG what a killer but I got home.

Ya gotta shoot the puck,

Louis Louis
