Exploring the Side Path
A.T. Lane and Louis Rubenstein got together for an unannounced Fixture ride Thursday, March 19, 2020. Louis was given a choice between a Lachine Rapids ride or a two bridges South Shore Loop. Suspecting that the later would be a longer ride he jumped at the chance to do a reverse direction repeat of last Sunday's route.
Along the way to the Champlain bridge we became curious about the side path that always seems to be fenced off and closed. Where does it it lead?
We turned around and went back to the path that leads to Nun's Island and the Champlain Bridge.

It seems this fence has been there forever |
