Pointe Aux Trembles

The MBC, trying again to use as many forms of non automotive travel as possible set out on the EXO train to Sainte-Thérèse for breakfast.

They rode out to Ste Anne des Plaines, at which they have a special affection for a fire truck.

As they continued on to Terrebonne, it started to rain and the advantages of fenders soon be came apparent.

However the skies cleared and we stopped for lunch.

We continued on to Pointe Aux Trembles then caught a ferry back to the Old Port.  Taking note of the future Eastern tip of the Sherbrooke REV along the way.

After viewing some pictures of the trip, G.T. Bishop sent of some of his from The Rock.

Not to be out done, Birdie then submitted this photo and comment

My kayak Fixture yesterday was perfect. We had calm seas on our circumnavigation of a nearby island. A lot drier than Pt-Aux-Trembles and Newfoundland!
