Sept 19 Team Ian's ride to Bromont sendoff
Mile A Minute Murphy, one of the original six of Team Ian, contacted A.T. Lane with a clandestine invitation to join them in this years two day ride to Chateau Bromont and back. Unfortunately A.T. could not join them for the full ride but took part in a a sendoff by riding with the main group as far as St Jean sur Richelieu before returning home.
A.T.'s Route for Team Ian Sendoff
The riders assembled at Nick's Cafe on Greene Ave in Westmount, then proceeded over the Jacques Cartier bridge, passing well known structures on the South Shore.
After a short stop in the town of Chambly, they rode along the Chambly canal to St Jean sur Richelieu.
After a rest stop in Jean, the riders pondered the question if the Team was really a drinking club with a cycling problem.
After wishing the team good luck on their journey to Bromont A.T. headed back to Montreal on the most direct route, before coming again to the familiar sights approaching the city.
