Skiing : Falaise St Jacques - Bande Verte : Ski de fond
A.T., Daisy Greville, and Tibbs met at the Rose Bowl for an outing on the Falaise and Bande Verte. A.T. came with camera in hand and soon was following the vagaries of our small feathered friends. Daisy and Tibbs came with skiis and set off exploring to the west. After about 200 meters they turned off the Falaise path and made their way onto the Bande Verte. They skied to the extreme western end of the future Bande Verte. They returned by the same trail they had made and then back onto the Falaise trail. The weather was overcast, just below freezing with no wind.
A.T., Daisy Greville et Tibbs se sont rencontrés au Rose Bowl pour une sortie sur la Falaise et la Bande Verte. A.T. est venu avec sa caméra et suivait bientôt les caprices de nos petits amis à plumes. Daisy et Tibbs sont venus avec des skiis et sont partis explorer vers l’ouest. Après environ 200 mètres, ils ont laissé la piste de Falaise et se sont rendus sur la Bande Verte. Ils ont fait du ski jusqu’à l’extrémité ouest de la future Bande Verte. Ils sont revenus par la même piste qu’ils avaient faite, puis de retour sur le sentier de la Falaise. Le temps était sans soleil, juste en dessous zéro degré Celsius.
