20 July 2022 St Jerome Green Ride

On a very hot day, A.T. & G.T. set out on the St Jerome train to explore riding North-South through the Domaine Vert.

They had both traveled through the Domain Vert in an East-West path before but this route was a new experience.

Rather than passing under Autoroute 15 in a tunnel, this route uses a highway overpass.

The North side of the Domaine Vert has an inviting foot bridge beside a beautiful wetland we had to explore.  Unfortunately it just goes to someone's backyard.

Continuing on the main path, A.T. stopped to take a picture of a Blue Jay he spotted.

Google maps's North South Route through the Domaine Vert was a turned out to be a mixture of trails we had never seen before and some that looked familiar.

Soon we were out of the Parc land, into Suburbia.  We headed to the Rosemere train Station Cafe to have lunch and sit out the heat until the next train arrived.

Soon we were across the river into Laval. The 1:40 Rosemere train only goes as far as the Parc Av station so we rode back from there.  G.T. will be leaving for a month on a trip to the U.K. tomorrow, so A.T.fist pumped him a goodby
