6 July 2022 Checking out the Bonaventure bike path to Vieux Montreal (Western Entrances)
A.T. took a solo look at the Western entrances to what may some day be the Bonaventure Boulevard bike path to Vieux Montreal.
Google satellite view shows this gap in the bike paths between Vieux Montreal (on the top of the map) and the Sud Ouest / Champlain Bridge (on the bottom of the map). Intriguingly, these paths seem to be built in order to someday provide a link along what is now the Bonaventure Expressway to Vieux Montreal. let's see what is currently behind these construction fences.

Second construction fence blocking path that leads under Autoroute 15
I felt I had to go down these two paths and see how far they lead....
The first path, (alongside Boulevard Gaétan-Laberge) I have been on a few times before, It dead ends at a large intersection just beyond what is visible from the fence.
The second fence is harder to by pass than the first. To access the path that passes under Autoroute 15 you enter via a construction road a little to the west.
Again the path comes to an abrupt end just past what is initially visible.
Hopefully someday one will be able to ride on these paths to Vieux Montreal.
