On
21 Feb 2019 the MBC did the eastern half of this trail by taking
Candiac Exo train from Vendome to the LaSalle train station. It leaves Vendome at 9:40 am gets to LaSalle at 9:53 on weekdays.

As result of the new information presented by the South West Ski Trail map, I suggest that the MBC attempt to do the full length of the trail in 2020. The starting point could be reached by taking the
Vaudreuil-Hudson train to Lachine and walking to Parc Summerlea. (10:02 Vendome arriving at Lachine 10:14) or by taking the 191 bus from Metro Lionel Groulx directly to the Parc. (9:01 am - 9:51 am) The return would again be from Verdun Metro. It would be much longer trip than last year however it possible to bail at any point by taking an Autobus.
