8 July Kristiansund - Atlantic Road

 The MS Polarlys docked at Kristiansund and we took an excursion to see the Atlantic Road.

 

The first stop was at a Stave Church near Averøy.

 

Next was a lunch break at a restaurant specializing in traditional dried cod dishes.

 

The Atlantic Road itself is a scenic 8 km section of county road 64.  There is also a walking path that offers views of some of the bridges.  It appears as part of a chase scene in the James Bond Movie No Time to Die.

 

 

  From the Atlantic Road we followed county road 64 into Molde where we again picked up the MS Polarlys.
