Observations Up Mont Royal and Back

2 May 2020  Some observations while riding up Mont Royal and back:

Along Côte Ste Antoine, the cones added for widening the sidewalk to allow social distancing were placed on the edge of the bike path.  Since paint that marks the outer edge of the bike path has worn away over the winter it looks instead like the bike path has been moved over to the sidewalk.

On Westmount Avenue the cones were placed on the north side of the street, opposite the bike path.

No cones as one approaches Cote des Neiges.

Closed parking lots within Mont Royal.

Not many people at the Mont Royal lookout.

Most cyclists seem to use Camillien Houde, it is easier to maintain a distance than on Chemin Olmsted.

McGill was empty that day.

Families out along Atwater and Sherbrooke
